One step at a time
While I may not be able to report that my kitchen is happening quickly, it’s definitely happening! There are a few glitches in the drywall portion that prevents me from painting the whole kitchen at once. However, I was able to patch and sand and then prime and paint the part where my cabinets will go. Just a few minutes ago I finished the topcoat, and as soon as that dries, the ball will be back in Michael’s court. I am on pins and needles wondering when the actual time will come to start hanging cabinets. Again I must be patient, not only while I wait for Michael to have a break in his schedule that will permit the cabinet project, but I also need to remember that any time our old house decides to be fickle, we must stop and figure out what special needs it has THIS time.
