What a day. This morning my dad accompanied two daughters and two granddaughters to Animal Kingdom. We got out the door in good time and arrived just after opening.

The weather was cold and rainy, but we were prepared. We had layers of clothes and even a few rain slickers to share between our group.

Overall, we had a wonderful day! The five of us were amazed at the animals we saw. We had to keep reminding ourselves to move along and get to the next thing. We easily could have spent much longer at several of the exhibits.

By the time we arrived back at our room we were exhausted but full of tales of an interesting day.

Michael had spent the day with the kids at the pool, Downtown Disney, doing laundry, and packing suitcases.

After some kids were in bed, Michael and I took Judah and Isaac back to Downtown Disney for one last visit. It was fun to stroll around, shop, and enjoy each other’s company.
