Toybox–packed!

August 11th, 2007 by Christie

Just a quick update on my packing venture…

Today I tackled the toybox. I had quickly sorted through it a few weeks ago, but today I worked all the way to the bottom. A bag went into the trash, two bags went to the mission, Judah’s favorites went into his blue treasure bin, and the rest went into a big cardboard box to save for another day.

Now we have only Judah’s blue bin in the place where the big laundry basket of toys was before. I’m eager to see how this affects our living room cleanliness.

AACK! You “only” have ONE toy box? This is an area that I have long thought we need to work on, but I’m never sure what to do about it. We have so many toys! With 5 boys in a row I’m always hesitant to get rid of anything, because sooner or later somebody will like it. Anyway, great job on weeding throught the toys!

That is really cool. I’ve been doing stuff like that lately. Although, I lack the impetus for change on an imminent move, so I’m not doing as much as you.

But on the other hand, we’re going to have one more garage sale this fall, so I hope to simplify my life and possessions at least a little more then!
