Still waiting…
Today we got so much done at our house on Monroe! I’m very encouraged.
But since I was so distracted by the work there, as well as piano lessons and Amelia getting sick again and needing to go to the doctor, I completely forgot to get to the grocery store or to the place where I buy coffee. That means we have no milk and no coffee. Tonight I’m too tired to care. I’ll think of something else for breakfast, and I’ll make tea.
Baby Lilly is still safe and sound in her favorite place in the world. I am scheduled for an induction next Tuesday morning if Lilly doesn’t come out on her own before then.
Tomorrow there is more bad weather forecast. I hope we can get some more work done at the Monroe house before we have to retreat and escape the bad weather. Michael has decided we will list the house with a realtor by January 1, even if we’re not totally ready. So we need to do all we can between now and then.
Not much else to report here. I’m ready for a hot bath and a good night’s sleep.

How exciting to know a definate “end” date for your pregnancy! Does your Dr. routinely induce once you pass your due date? I’m dealing with gestational diabetes this pregnancy, and have been told in passing that I won’t be allowed to pass my due date. I’m not quite ready to think about all that yet though (I’m at 34 weeks). I’ll be praying for you.

Hi Jamie,
No, I think the doctor would be willing for me to go a little longer, but I typically don’t go into labor on my own, so usually I’m ready to be induced by now. Also, it’s so nice to get childcare lined up in advance.
I’m eager to meet this baby! We’ll post photos right away.

So if the Doctor is out delivering a baby when I get there for my appointment on Tuesday, I can assume that Baby Lilly is making an appearance?
Hope all goes well for you–looking forward to hearing that news!!!

Well, Alicia, that’s wishful thinking for me.
I could only hope things would progress that quickly! I’m guessing, if I go in around 7 a.m., that I will deliver before midnight.
Can anyone tell me how many babies I have to have before I get a FAST delivery???

Hey, I’m hoping that Lilly is the one! You’ve had enough long labors!!! I’ll be thinking of you!
