Empty Nest

I think I’ve finally realized that Frizz is not coming back. I keep looking out back, wondering how he’s doing, and listening for his voice. But we haven’t seen him for many days, so I think that for better or for worse, he’s gone.
Does that mean we have an empty nest now? And do I have “empty nest syndrome”?

Well, Christie, he may not be a sparrow, but I am sure God’s eye is upon him
He is a special bird! It was fun seeing him grow from a helpless, totally dependent bit of life, to a beautiful creature. I am sure there is something we can learn from the experience.
When I was at your house, I was impressed with how attentive your kids were to his needs. When it was time to feed him or clean up after him, they did it so eagerly!
And the day you took him to church…That’s a day your kids will never forget!
He was even a guest of honor at our memorial day picnic. How nice!
