Isaac was quickly putting away dishes, and in the process knocking things over.
I said to him, “Isaac, you’re like a bull in a china shop!”
“What?”, he said.
“I said, you’re like a bull in a china shop.”
“Isn’t that where they belong?”
????
After a bit more discussion he exclaimed, “Oh! I thought you said ‘a bowl in a china shop’!”

I can just imagine your household. I think it’d be fun to be a fly on the wall for a day!!
I LOVED watching Luke help Amelia read in choir today. That was just too cute. Does he usually help her like that or was he being extra nice tonight?? That’s the wonderful thing about homeschooling is the older kids learn to patiently (or sometimes not so patiently lol) teach/help the younger kids. It’s a great thing.
I hope Amelia has a great party on Saturday. I’ll be looking forward to hearing about it in Sunday School!! I’ve had fun getting to know her more and am looking forward to teaching her the rest of the year!!
Love in Christ,

Hi Molly,
Luke struggles greatly in reading, so he has lots of experience with how I coach him as he’s reading. Now that Amelia is reading, he often will look over her shoulder and help her. She is only a year behind him in her school work, so they are on a similar ability level. What you saw tonight was not unusual. I was proud of both of them for giving it their best effort and for working together so nicely!
Thanks for your nice comments!
