Spooky
What a fun Halloween we’ve had!
Today a neighbor brought over an old bedsheet and asked if I wanted to use it for any of the kids’ costumes. I have never made a “ghost” before, so I decided it was worth a shot. Judah was quite pleased to be the one to be our ghost.
The other kids put together some costumes, despite my lack of assistance. When their Uncle Todd got home from work, he took them on a long walk to check for houses offering candy.
Meanwhile, our friends and neighbors, the Davises, hosted a hot-dog roast at their house. What fun to be their guests and enjoy the goodies they had spread out.
Now we are home and the children are examining their goody bags. Several of the kiddos have aching tummys thanks to all the junk they’ve eaten tonight. I’m sure by morning everyone will be feeling better and ready to dive into their candy bags again.
Happy Halloween!
