Laura borrowed my camera and went on a photographic journey around our yard. Here are some of my favorite photos that she came back and showed off.

The first under the trampoline photo is under the big trampoline, and the second is under the small one.

Great photos Laura!
You are developing quite an eye to see what the lens of your camera will capture.
I look forward to seeing more of what you do.

After a semi-sleepless night on my mother in law’s living room floor, we were able to locate a generator. Over $700 later and we are coming home to get some heat. Bless their hearts – the electric company fixed us. We are ready for the next attack from Mother Nature! we have so many huge limbs hanging from trees and laying on the ground, the house and ice hanging from my nomes and the earth lodge. I took some pictures but the wind was picking up and it wasn’t safe to be out there. We are sitting here watching bad sci-fi movies and hearing ice and branches hit the house. It might be another sleepless night. I love the angel picture here. The Native Americans say that in the winter Mother Nature lays down to rest. I think that angel is doing the same.
