Thank you all for your concern! An update: My hand and wrist are doing better, and I can actually play piano! My fingers aren't taped together any more, either.

although I was not one of the visitors of your blog that complained about its actuality, I too was wondering when the christmas tree would make way to something more recent ;-)

I am sorry that was 2 broken windows and, even worse, another injured child.

Fortunately, Laura feels well enough to write her own answers here and therefore, directly to you, I hope your injuries heal well and that you can use your hand/arm again very soon!

love, Karin

(at home with Jesse, suffering from the flu :()

Actually I didn't cry for a little while, it didn't hurt at first,so I didn't see a need to cry. And I think that the reason I finally cried for a couple minutes was the shock, really.

Christy, I am sorry that Laura was hurt. I am glad you saw it before you pulled away.
Our kid who busted windows, although never in our own house, was Kay. She broke two within a month once and Dick got to know the neighbors fixing their windows. It didn't cost much back then if you were handy with Putty.
Kay is also the only kid who had stitches. We took her in on Monday for removal and back on Friday to get some more. She is not the kid of ours you would think would do this stuff. No stitches for Don or Patty and no broken windows. Keep us posted on Laura's stitched fingers. Give both kids (Luke needs one too)a hug for me.

Sounds like you've had an interesting week! I hope Laura is feeling better. Was it her right or left hand?
oh, I saw you had a link for Luv Mercy on the right. We no longer use that domain. I think Mom and Dad have a blog that you have to get permission to visit now.

Wow, 2 windows in 2 days. Makes me think of the hs conference we went to last spring and the seminar about boys. I think it must be awful hard to be a boy. I sure am glad I'm not one!
