Exercise

If you ever need to work off some excess energy during this long winter, try playing Uno with six kids and a husband. It’s enough to wear ya’ down in a hurry.

I don’t know this game, but we often play party & co, which can be exhausting, too….
Hopefully, you can have a look at my hyves pages. (something like facebook, I guess) It may be that you are not allowed to view it, in which case you should subscribe to hyves yourself and become my “friend”.If you like, I can help you with that, since all of it is in Dutch)
I also have my own blog (which also is in dutch, unfortunately) and some nice family pictures. The kids have their own hyves and you might be surprised how Jesse looks now! He is growing his hair, too, although it is not as curly as Isaac’s;-)

Hi Karin,

I would love to see your blog and photos.
The funny thing about the game “Uno” is that it’s very simple. Each player only needs to match the color or the number on the card shown. But even though it’s simple, the challenge is to keep the children focused, remind them whose turn it is, encourage them to choose a card quickly, etc. Sometimes the children start being extra silly and it’s almost enough to chase Michael and me away from the table.
It’s nice to hear from you. Thanks for keeping in touch! Christie

We have a wii fit and that is enough to wear me out. I used to think I was in pretty good shape…not the case though. Uno can be exhausting with lots of kids….but fun though. Missing all of you.
