Day Care
May 9th, 2009 by Christie
A few days ago the children were playing happily in the front yard, and a man walked by and noticed their industrious endeavors in hammering nails into boards. He chatted for a moment or two, and then asked, “What’s the name of your day care?” I smiled and replied, “All but one of these kids is mine. We’re not a daycare.” He stared in disbelief.
And now I can tell folks that I’ve been asked if we’re a daycare. That’s a first for me.

Christy, This happened to Patty about a month ago. One of her neighbors came over and asked her if she runs a day care. She looks about 23 and there are all of those kids playing in her yard. All hers. She was tickled.
